Code by Fab (28/May/2009) Sin is iniquity, forever.
I also found some interesting codes in the Tanakh using the expression "sin is iniquity" (cf 1 John 3:4). Statistically, 59 were expected, and 50 were found. The third minimal skip (lowest skip found in the Tanakh outside the Torah) was extendable to "sin is iniquity forever", and upon checking the underlying text, I noticed it goes through: 1 Samuel 15:24: "I have sinned; for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD" Which quite interesting, as sin is clearly defined as the "transgression of the law/commandment" in the NT: 1 John 3:4: "Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." The
second minimal skip could be extended to "sin
is iniquity, obey the commandment for you!". |
