Satan is the father of lie. Like the Lamb I will be exalted!
I was searching for
another well known utterance of Jesus "Satan is the father of lie"
(cf John 8:44). CodeFinder indicated it was expected to show up 0 times and
2 occurrences were actually found. The second occurrence could be extended to
a longer and interesting term stating "Satan is the father of lie. Like
the Lamb I will be exalted", upon checking the verses from the plain text
I noticed one of the letters could be found in Genesis 2:9 where the "tree
of knowledge" is mentioned for the first time in the Bible, this is interesting
since the first time a lie is mentioned it is there and it is uttered by the
serpent who is clearly associated with Satan in the NT in Revelation 12:9 "And
the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and
Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth,
and his angels were cast out with him." (See also Rev 20:2).
