by Al Sutton Word of God and AD 2006 I started this study for a number of reasons, in no particular order: (1) I recently installed the latest version of Code Finder, Millenium Edition and The Jerusalem Dictionary. I wanted to exercise them. (2) I’ve been looking for a better control technique to judge the statistical validity of spatial correlations. I’ve tried a model based approach which is very dependent on matrix display size and a software’s search and correlation technique. I’ve tried building a control by random searches, but only to adjust the results of the model. The creation of random samples manually presents a lot of tedious hard work that is, in general, not reproducible. (3) I’ve been looking for something that would serve as a watermark for code validity. I wanted to try out a few ideas, most of which were fruitless. I decided to run a test with “Word of God” as the central search term. If you can’t trust the Word of God, what can you trust? I selected 17 search words to run against “Word of God”, including Hebrew words for HC 5766 (AD 2006), war, famine, plague, horseman, apocalyptic, apocalypse, comet, impact, holocaust, earthquake, and meteor.1 I thought these words were explicit or implicit in the book of Revelation and in the Prophets. I chose a display matrix size of 60 rows and 60 columns, with all of the high tech features of Code Finder disabled. I then took the original 18 terms, and scrambled the letters1. Scrambling the letters is fairly easy to do, keeps the probability for each word or term identical within the Torah, and allows a direct comparison of spatial correlation without knowing the details of the search algorithm or parameters as long as they remain unchanged. A few details were obvious without much analysis. Word of God is a significant term in itself at odds very much less the one-in-a-million. The driver is the number of terms for Word of God in the open text. Without those terms in the open text, Word of God doesn’t appear to be statistically significant. The controls for Word of God that I tried were not present in statistically interesting numbers. Word of God correlates with itself often, again mostly because of the terms appearing in the open text, whereas the control showed no self correlation for the matrices actually examined. The control matrices have fewer correlated terms, and fewer numbers for the correlated terms. There were too many matrices to do exhaustive analysis (251 for the data run, 94 for the control run, with 100 expected). I analyzed the “top-15” for both the data run and the control as presented by the Code Finder software, ranked by the number of terms which correlated with row splitting turned OFF. Table 1 shows the results of the data run and Table 2 shows the results of the control run. Table 3 is pretty much a standard table, but instead of using a theoretically calculated number for the expected value, I used the total directly from the control run. This isn’t very sophisticated, but it is fairly intuitive. A more detailed analysis also supports the general conclusion that 16 of the 17 terms spatially correlate with the Word of God at significantly higher than expected values, at very much less than one-in-a-million odds. The only term that didn’t correlate better than the control is “famine”. I have no explanation, mathematically, physically, or scriptually why all of the other terms correlate significantly better than the control, and the term famine doesn’t. Several other trends in the experimental data are interesting, but not necessarily indicative of anything. I was especially intrigued by the behavior of holocaust (Shoah), which ran high (hundreds per matrix) for the first 9 matrices, then disappeard. That may be important, but I have no hypothesis. In general, the control seems to have smaller variances across the sampled matrices compared to the experimental data. I don’t know that this experiment proves anything. I think it provides additional circumstantial evidence that there are codes in the Bible, and that AD 2006 has many terms spatially correlated with it and the Word of God that suggests the next few years will be more interesting than we really want. --------------------------- 1 Hebrew spellings for search terms and their randomized controls English Hebrew Randomized Word of God Daleth Bet Resh Yod Heh Vav Heh Daleth Resh Bet Yod Vav Heh Heh 5766 Heh Tav Shin Samech Vav Heh Samech Vav Tav Shin (5)766 Tav Shin Samech Vav Samech Vav Tav Shin war (n) Mem Lamed Chet Mem Heh Lamed Mem Chet Heh Mem war (v) Lamed Lamed Chet Vav Mem Lamed Chet Lamed Mem Vav famine Resh Ayin Bet Resh Bet Ayin plague Mem Gimmel Peh Heh Peh Heh Mem Gimmel plague Mem Tet Resh Daleth Resh Daleth Mem Tet horseman Peh Resh Shin Resh Peh Shin horseman Samech Yod Yod Samech Yod Samech Samech Yod apocalyptic Nun Bet Vav Alef Yod Bet Nun Vav Yod Alef apocalypse Heh Tav Gimmel Lamed Vav Tav Tav Heh Gimmel Vav Lamed Tav comet Shin Bet Yod Tet Yod Tet Shin Bet impact (n) Resh Vav Shin Mem Vav Resh Mem Shin impact (v) Lamed Daleth Chet Vav Samech Vav Daleth Chet Samech Lamed holocaust Shin Vav Alef Heh Alef Heh Shin Vav earthquake Resh Ayin Shin Ayin Resh Shin meteor Mem Tet Alef Vav Resh Resh Tet Mem Vav Alef Table
